Unwinding Before Bed

Whether you are working from home or in an office, staying focused all day to come home and make dinner and do any chores around the house is exhausting. Being able to reset before another busy day is so important. I find that having a routine to unwind and detox is essential for having a good night’s rest.

After I put the kids to bed, it’s time for me to unwind. I like to start by taking off my makeup and brushing out my hair. I then decide what kind of mood I am in. If my day has been extra tiring I will grab a glass of wine, a book, and run a bath for myself. Bath salts, candles, and escaping into a book are one of my favorite ways to feel like the main character and to get intouch with myself.

Another way I like to unwind is with a Netflix binge! I’ll throw on my most comfortable PJs, grab some popcorn and chocolate to snack on, a glass of wine (of course), and get comfortable on my bed! Deciding what to watch is next. I usually have a show or two that I am watching, but sometimes it’s nice to go with a comfort show. Something that I’ve watched several times, but never get tired of.

There are so many other great ways to unwind at the end of the day, like yoga or baking or doing your favorite hoby! Being able to re-set at the end of the day will help the next day be that much better! Drop in the comments how you unwind, and don’t forget to check out my resent sales blog!
