Staying active is something I try to keep up with, but it’s not always easy with such a busy schedule. It can be hard to stay motivated, but I have found a few ways to make my fitness journey fun!
I have found having a couple of outfits that make me feel confident helps to get me ready to workout! Personally, I love the align leggings from Lulu Lemon. I like how soft they are and that they are high-rise. I wear a size 2 and usually choose a 23″ or 25″ for the length. There are so many color and print options for this style of legging. They can also easily be paired with any of my tops or sports bras from amazon!
Training Equiptment
If you are a beginner to the fitness world, like me, it can be hard to know where to start. A couple of tools I use to help me tone my muscles are a set of dumbells and wrist/ankle weights. Starting out with a lighter set of weights is a must so you don’t pull any muscles or hurt yourself. If you enjoy doing yoga, adding ankle weights is a great way to challenge yourself!
I have also started using the resistance loop bands. These are great for working the booty and hips! The set below comes with 5 different strengths, starting with X-Light and moving up to X-Heavy. Basic resistance bands are also a great way to get into the fitness life. The set below comes with handles and ankle straps. This allows you to work a variety of different muscles including your arms, abs, and legs!
Adding cardio to your fitness routine is also a must. I really enjoy the MYX II bike from myxfitness! There are a bunch of live and on-demand classes that you can follow to help you stay on track. It also gives you access to personalized heart rate-based training and personalized meal planning. Riding a bike is a great cardio option if you are not a fan of running.
Having a fitness routine helps with more than just your physical appearance. It is good for your mental health and helps to increase your daily energy. I hope these tips help you make your fitness journey more fun! If you have any tips on how you stay active and motivated, drop them in the comments!
